PC system can print different styles of pass in advance of scheduled appointment
Today (March 16, 2012) clubs and bars in the Newquay resort are being encouraged to install identity scanners. Devon and Cornwall Police believe the scanners will stop people from using fake IDs. The scanners have already been installed at two local venues. Insp Ian Drummond-Smith said: “It’s also a really good way of making sure staff are not inadvertently allowing under-18s into their premises that might have quite a good forgery.”
Time and Attendance South West can supply Visitor Management Systems (VMS) to resort clubs or other businesses to discourage those with fake ID from gaining entry to the premises. VMS is a low cost PC computer based Visitor Management and Visitor Pass production system. Simple to use, user friendly with Windows-style software, it allows Reception and Gatehouse staff to quickly check the identity or enter the details of visitors, and print their personalised ID pass. VMS can print different styles of pass in advance of a scheduled appointment.
