Gloucestershire manufacturing plant Renishaw employers workforce smart card clocking recording network Time and Attendance South West Radio Frequency reading technology consistent read range A Gloucestershire engineering company is to officially open a new healthcare manufacturing plant. Renishaw – which supplies products for a variety of industries in the measuring equipment field – bought the unused site in Wales in July last year. Renishaw numbers more than 3,000 people in its workforce, chiefly at five sites in Gloucestershire, and is one of the county’s largest employers. The firm hopes to locate much of its future manufacturing at the new plant as well as overall expansion.

Is your firm moving to a new site or more sites? If you are not already using a standardised, company-wide smart card clocking recording network from Time and Attendance South West, then it is time to. The smart cards have no battery, thus have a near-infinite life, and can be read an infinite number of times. All smart cards and key fobs use the same well-proven and reliable Radio Frequency reading technology. This gives a consistent read range which is unaffected by most external conditions.
