Fire crews rushed to the fire in Collaton Lane in Tavistock early on Sunday (February 3, 2013) after being called to the farm buildings just after 01:00 GMT. Two neighbouring homes were also evacuated and firefighters expected the exclusion zone to remain in place for the rest of the day. Investigations into the fire have started.

Time and Attendance South West’s clocking and attendance management products can be integrated with fire roll call software that will automatically generate a report in the event of a fire or other emergency. As employees assemble at their fire roll call points, they use their smart cards or key fobs to record their presence. If employees have not brought their cards or fobs with them, they can be checked off manually using the generated reports to ensure proper health and safety procedures.
