AGD Systems invests £1m into new R&D facilities at Cheltenham HQ

AGD Systems, a Gloucestershire-based company that provides intelligent radar detection systems for the traffic management industry has just completed a £1m investment into new R&D facilities at its HQ near Cheltenham, a news report in the local media has revealed.

The opening of the new 3,000 sq ft building in Staverton marked the culmination of several years of planning, designing and constructing high-tech facilities which would enable AGD to continue delivering radar detection systems. Further development plans scheduled for 2014 include a new radar testing and demonstration suite.

Technical director Doug Nelson said: "This significant investment in new research and development facilities marks a milestone in AGD’s history. It is a clear demonstration of our continuing commitment to designing, developing and delivering the world’s most advanced intelligent radar detection systems in the heart of the Gloucestershire.”
