50 jobs secured as Salisbury home care staffing firm is bought out of administration

A total of 50 jobs were saved as a Salisbury supplier of home care nursing staff was bought out of administration by a company sharing the same directors, a news report in the local business media has revealed.

The Prime Care Agency Ltd in Durrington, near Salisbury, entered into administration at the beginning of May 2014 and was sold to Primecare (Salisbury) Ltd, with the positions of all 50 employees protected.

One of the appointed interim administrators commented on the move: "Prime Care was a profitable business but had encountered difficulties due to creditor pressures. Following our advice, the firm has been restructured and we expect it to trade successfully into the future."
