Jobs lost as Swindon-based telecom services company goes under

Up to 65 jobs have been lost after a Swindon-based company which provided communications network engineering and support services to the telecoms industry has entered administration, a recent news report in the local media has been able to reveal.

DMN Ltd and DMN Group Holdings (2012) Ltd (together known as DMN) were placed under administration at the end of October. The administrators said the business had been forced to close as a result of unprofitable contracts that it had been in the process of exiting.

Following the appointment, the company ceased trading and 65 employees across its sites in Swindon, Warrington and Bolton were made redundant.

A number of contractors engaged by DMN to support its operations will also be impacted by the business ceasing to trade.

Any restructuring and operations’ streamlining processes are never good for employees and the respective companies’ HR departments, but Time & Attendance South West can help firms navigate easier through these troubled times.
