Jobs saved after Swindon-based temp agency is bough out of administration

Multiple jobs have been saved after a Swindon-based temporary recruitment agency was bought out of administration by two of its own employees, a recent news report in the local business media has been able to reveal.

The company, Storm Recruitment, entered administration after suffering from high overheads and legacy costs that meant it was unable to continue with a company voluntary arrangement which had previously been agreed in August 2013.

Storm Recruitment was established in Swindon in 1975 and provides temporary, contract, temporary to permanent and permanent employment services. The company specialises in the commercial office, secretarial, accounts, technical, information technology and Industrial sectors.

Prior to the appointment, the business employed five staff and had a bank of about 150 temporary staff on its books.

Two employees of the company were able to purchase the business with the support of third party equity funding and an invoice finance facility.
