Major discount retailer to build new 600,000 sq ft distribution centre in Bristol


One of the UK’s (and Europe’s) best-known discount retailers has revealed plans to open a new 600,000 sq ft distribution centre in Bristol, replacing its existing site in Weston-Super-Mare, a news report in the local business media has found.

Low-cost retailer Lidl has acquired the 33-acre site on Central Park in Avonmouth from Delta Properties for a new regional distribution centre (RDC).
