30,000 sq ft car dealership to be developed in Exeter

A new 30,000 sq ft car dealership is set to be developed in Exeter, on the Matford Green Business Park, and a detailed planning application has been submitted for this purpose, a news report in the local business media has revealed.

The showroom will be located at the entrance to Matford Green and would sit opposite Jaguar and BMW showroom and will be the first on the park where planning consent exists for up to 500,000 sq ft of employment space and 30,000 sq ft for a pub, restaurant and retail facilities.

Once planning consent is secured, infrastructure works to provide an access into the park from Yeoford Way will commence, which will literally open up the 27-acre site which could generate more than 2,000 jobs overall.
