80 new jobs created as retailer opens its 100th store near Plymouth

A well known home, garden and leisure national retailer has opened its 100th store in Peverell near Plymouth, creating more than 80 jobs from warehouse staff and sales assistants to store and office managers, a recent news report in the local media has been able to reveal.

Chris Dawson, billionaire owner and founder of The Range, said: "It is a very proud moment for me to be opening my 100th store and to be able to do it where it all started makes it even more special. The company has grown from just one store all those years ago and I couldn’t be prouder of this achievement.

"It has taken a lot of effort to get here and I want to thank all of the staff that have worked hard to make this happen."
