Gloucestershire engineering firm set for massive multi-million pound expansion
Forest of Dean engineering company Versarien is set for a massive expansion, as it plans to start trading on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) of the London Stock Exchange in order to get required funding.
The company has developed a heat transfer copper for use in cooling systems in computing and power condition equipment, that apparently manages to seriously reduce the dangers of overheating.
Versarien estimates an average AIM valuation of around £12 million, that would enable it to go ahead with the £2.3 million take over Total Carbide Limited, a long established advanced materials company, and expand its operation afterwards.
After the merger, the company’s employee roster will be bolstered from the current 11 up to 60, with even more jobs being planned for the future. Any such expansion is bound to be plagued by various personnel-related issues. Things tend to get even more complicated when specific access privileges and a higher level of access security is required, as is the case with Versarien.
