Stephen Gilbert, the Liberal Democrat MP for St Austell and Newquay, said he opposed the proposals because he believed “hard-working public sector employees deserve a fair wage for the work they do, no matter where they live”. He added that the development was a “victory for people power”. Some of the NHS consortium wanted to introduce local pay deals.

WinTA Enterprise is a multi-user, networked attendance recording and payroll system from Time and Attendance South West intended for larger organisations or companies. It does everything expected from a world-class system. WinTA Enterprise contains numerous extra features that can be implemented on your time and attendance system to take into account diversity with working rules between different organisations. This includes Secondary Pay Bands – certain pay bands pay into other bands either on a 1:1 basis or by using a multiplier.
