Plans put forward for 750-home residential development in Ilfracombe

North Devon Council received an outline planning application from Resign Ltd for a project dubbed the Ilfracombe Southern Extension that involves up to 750 homes and a district centre, a brand new report in the local media has revealed.

The proposed site is located south of Ilfracombe between the A361 and the B3230 and, beside the homes, it also sports a district centre with 2,691 sq ft of retail, financial services, restaurants, pubs, takeaways, 39,983 sq ft of business uses, a health centre, a pavilion, a primary school and associated works.
